Tarte Treasure Chest Palette

Hey guys, so I guess this is kind of just my version of a haul until I get a camera. LOL I got the Tarte treasure Chest Palette today from Sephora and..... I AM SO IN LOVE!!! It's so great! The colors are so rich and pigmented, better than any other eyeshadow I have ever used. EVER. And that includes Mac, Maybelline, Sephora brand, Lo'Real, Estee Lauder, Victoria's Secret, Ulta brand, Urban Decay, the 120 Manly palette, Leishi pigments, E.L.F, and probably a heck of a lot more.

{not that I'm knocking any of these products, I have stuff from all of them that I really like)

But I do like this product more than all those. It has 32 eye shadows 16 are shimmery, and 16 are matte. The colors are more neutral and fall-ish, but with punches of awesome (brighter)

colors. They are SOOOO soft and even the white and light pink Matte colors don't look chalky on me. (and I'm like the color of caramel) Then there are 16 lip glosses in there, and they are ALL amazing. Seriously, they're all colors you can actually wear! (unlike the Sephora blockbuster which had outrageous shades of blue and purple) Then it has 4 blushes, 2 of which are super shimmery- which I love- the other 2 are pretty shimmery too, and they magically match most skin tones. Then there is a FULL size bronzer, and a FULL SIZE illuminator
.

(these are the shimmery ones, and the actual size is almost 2x bigger than this!!!)

Let me just say, these aren't like tiny sample sizes like the Sephora Blockbuster. (I was majorly disappointed when I saw those tiny things!!!) They are pretty much FULL SIZE!!! Except for the glosses, there aren't 16 tubes of lip gloss. =( lol But the glosses are the size of an average single eyeshadow that you buy. As are the shadows!!!

This palette is awesome guys, Tarte is literally my new favorite makeup brand. It's a little pricey ($52) but it's sooooo worth it. To buy all that stuff would be at LEAST $250.

FAME!!!!

So I just got back from the movies, and I saw Fame. DEFINITELY one of THE BEST movies of the year. I loved it. It was so inspiring, so real, a huge encouragement, a dose of reality...... it was just amazing. I loved every second of it, the music, the dancing, the actors, the singing, (the leading guys.....)

I even loved Kay Panabaker in this, which surprises me, because I really thought she would irritate me (and at first.... she did!) but she really did well in her part. I'll have to do a more in depth review once I've seen it again, but I think everybody should see this. It's most definitely worth paying to go see. (Personally I went on a $5 day, but if I had known it would be as good as it is, I would have seen it opening night full price.)

So until you see it, here's a TINY taste -and I do mean tiny- of the treat that is FAME!

Review: Confessions of a Shopaholic

http://www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi2923168537/

This is a movie that every girl should see. I know what your thinking, "But I'm not a shopaholic!" It doesn't even matter whether or not your addicted to shopping. It's about so much more than that. On the surface it's just another chick flick, but if your willing to look a bit deeper into both the movie, and yourself, then you'll see that it's actually about YOU. Yes you. It's about all the things we tell ourselves to justify our actions. Be they selfish, lies, irresponsible, mean, rude, or just plain stupid. It's a movie that forces you to look into yourself, and face you head on. No it may not be the most unpredictable or shocking movies of the century, or really of all time, but it is a GREAT movie. About starting over, about being determined, about keeping promises and bettering yourself even when it's hard. It's about realizing that point of breaking in yourself. The point when you wake up and realize that you can't live life the same. About realizing what is important in life, and what you have put above the things that are important. But it all comes down to one huge I repeat HUGEEEE question.

Are you willing to do what you have to, in order to make the necessary changes?
